Week 16

4. Always do your best.

Someone asked me today how life was and I responded, "I live in heaven".
The more you do the more you can do. The more you exercise your will, the stronger it gets. The more you build your knowledge, power, inner
harmony and love and then use it to serve those around you, the more heaven manifests itself within you and around you. What gifts lay hidden deep
in your being? Only your best can ferret them out. Real discipline is moving toward a goal and asking "what is best?" every step of the way. It is
important to note that we don't want to confuse "best" with the "shoulds" of the world. Our intent and gut will tell us what is best whereas we can feel
that what we think we "should do" may not be in harmony with what is best.
This week reflect at the end of each day on your best. Did you do you best in communicating your goals or ideas? Did you do your best in helping
others to communicate theirs? Apply this concept to all your roles and worlds that you navigate through and use it to teach you where you are weak
and need to grow. Don't beat yourself up over areas of weakness - focus on the target, not on the miss. I see my weaknesses on a daily basis and
they scream at me. I acknowledge them, thank them for humbling me and then start chipping away at improving my knowledge and behavioral skills.
Remember to laugh at how serious we often take ourselves and how important we make things while our death whispers "it is nothing- just do your
best and enjoy the brief time you are here."
