Trifles or small details are the difference between ordinary power and extraordinary power, between cultivating nurturing relationships and "the straw that breaks the camel's back" and sends the relationship in new directions or separate courses. The most important factor in this principle is INTENT. Intent acts as a filter or lens that absorbs or brings light to information and trifles that help you move forward toward your goals. Remember the saying, "seek and you shall find"? The intent to seek out something starts an energetic process in play that will bring or direct you to the heart of your search. It unfolds step by step. For instance if you want more power in any athletic field then you should start with building a strong flexible foundation. Do you know what the largest tendon in the body is? The Achilles tendon is the base spring for all quick movement and expanding and compressing it helps "root" you to the ground and center you physically. Recently a football player tore his Achilles tendon and now he is out for the season. If your body is important to you then it is essential you listen to the whisperings of your tendons, muscles and organs, to listen to that gut feeling that we may ignore because our attention is out there somewhere. Once you see something then seek out more knowledge on it and utilize what you learn. Integrate trifles to grow in knowledge, power and inner harmony every day. Look back after 3 months of intending and learning and moving and you will be a new being. Love yourself and let that love ripple out in small acts of kindness to others. "We cannot do great acts; only small acts with great love." Mother Teresa By Peter Hill, Copyright 2004 www.getittogether.net Week 9>> |
